Change IE Document Mode to IE 8

Applies to SmarterMail 8.x - 15.x

It may be necessary to switch your Internet Explorer Document Mode to IE8 mode if you are experiencing any interface issues. NOTE: Even if you are using Internet Explorer 8, it is possible that your Document Mode is set to IE6 or IE7. 

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Hit the F12 button (Developer Tools will open).
3. In the top bar (File, Find, Disable, View, etc), on the right, there will be a Document Mode setting. Change this to Internet Explorer 8 Standards.
4. The page will automatically reload.
5. Close the Developer Tools.
