Sync Using CalDAV for Lightning

SmarterMail users that access their mailboxes from the Thunderbird email client and its Lighting calendaring add-on can sync their calendar data using the CalDav protocol. This protocol is included in SmarterMail, so there is no need to download or install additional programs.

Follow these steps to sync your SmarterMail calendar with Lightning:

Applies to SmarterMail Enterprise 8.x - 11.x

1. In Lightning, right-click the Calendar list and select New Calendar.
2. Click On the Network.
3. Click CalDAV.
4. For location, type http://yourdomain.com/WebDAV/cal
5. Enter a name for the calendar and press Next.
6. Enter your full email address and password when prompted.
