Activate Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync

Applies to SmarterMail Enterprise 7.x-15.x

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync is available as an optional add-on to SmarterMail and is associated to a specific SmarterMail license key at the time of purchase. Once you have purchased this add-on, you will need to reactivate SmarterMail before enabling Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. For more information on reactivating SmarterMail, please refer to the KB article Reactivate SmarterMail.

The Exchange ActiveSync add-on is now activated for this installation of SmarterMail. NOTE: If you are running SmarterMail with IIS, you will need to change your IIS configuration settings before you can add Exchange ActiveSync to specific mailboxes. For more information, refer to the KB article Configure IIS for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

Hi Arend!

You can purchase ActiveSync online at or by contacting our sales department. To contact Sales, you can submit a ticket at the Tickets section of the Portal, call 877-357-6278, or start a live chat during business hours. They can give you more information on ActiveSync and send you over a price quote to use for purchase.

If you'd like, you can also test ActiveSync before purchase by starting a 30 day trial. To activate a 30 day trial, follow the steps listed here:
