Push Pages to Customers in Live Chat

Often times during a chat, an agent will need to send a resource, such as a specific webpage, to the customer. SmarterTrack's page pushing feature makes this task simple and easy.

Applies to SmarterTrack 11.x-12.x

This functionality has been removed from SmarterTrack.

Applies to SmarterTrack 9.x - 10.x

Enabling Page Pushing
Follow these steps to enable the page pushing feature:
  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as a System Administrator.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Expand the System Settings and Organizations folder in the navigation pane.
  4. Click Groups.
  5. Select the desired group and click Edit in the content pane toolbar.
  6. Check the box for Allow agents to push pages to customers for live chats.
  7. Click Save in the content pane toolbar.

Pushing Pages to Customers
Follow these steps to push a page to a customer during a live chat:

  1. During an active chat, click the Actions menu.
  2. Click Push Page.
  3. Type the URL of the website you want to share.
  4. Click Send.

Enabling Page Pushing
Follow these steps to enable the page pushing feature:
  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as a System Administrator.
  2. Click the Settings icon.

  4. Click Groups.
  5. Select the desired group and click Edit in the content pane toolbar.
  6. Click Enable page pushing.
  7. Click Save in the content pane toolbar.

Follow these steps to push a page to a customer during a live chat:

  1. During an active chat, click Push Page.
  2. Type the URL of the website you want to share.
  3. Click Send.
