Move a Site to Another Server

System administrators using SmarterStats Enterprise can easily move a site from one server to another. This allows the system administrator to free up disk space on the server while retaining the historical data.

Follow these steps to move a SmarterStats site to a new server:

1. Log in as the system administrator.
2. Click the Sites icon. A list of existing sites in SmarterStats will load in the navigation pane.
3. Select the desired site. Then click the Actions menu in the navigation pane toolbar and click Move Site.
4. Complete the following required fields: Destination Server, New SmarterLog Path, New Log Export Path, and New Log Export URL. (Newer versions longer require the configuration of the export URL/path per site. Exported logs are downloaded locally.)
5. Click Save.
