I am having a problem with a DKIM header that I generate and send through SmarterMail: It is being stripped from the message.
This is different than having signing enabled in the options. I am able to use DKIM by enabling signing within SmarterMail, but I want to be able to do my own signing and validate with my own header, rather than using the SmarterMail option.
I tried sending both authenticated and non-authenticated, and both strip the header before sending.
Internal e-mails, meaning e-mails in which the recipient lives on the same server (different domain, same server), the DKIM header survives. But when sent to an address that does not live on the server, it strips the header.
I am using SmarterMail Enterprise 9693 (Jul 16, 2026).
