Pls, tell me - why the search engine does not search in subfolders?

I have an inbox with subfolders (projects, clients, etc.). I select the 'inbox' folder (Skrzynka odbiorcza - polish version), enter the search term, press enter, and there are no results because the email containing the term is in the 'kadry' subfolder ('kadry' is subfolder to 'Skrzynka odbiorcza' (inbox)).

I would be grateful for any tips.
