Christian -- I'm not sure what you mean? If you double click on a message, yes, it opens in a new window. However, there is a Preview Pane that opens emails within the webmail interface. Maybe check to make sure they have that set up to open on the right side, and not set to "none". This is in their settings, on the Webmail card:
