Hi,
I tried installing smartermail on redhat. Installation is going well but when I tried to enable auto ssl with letsencrypt, I am getting incessible through HTTP error. Server is accessible from public IP http. I am using default smartermail web server. Is there any document to troubleshoot? It is running latest version of smartermail.

had a similar issue - the error in Certificates was

The hostname for this site is not bound to this SmarterMail instance when navigating to it through HTTP. This is necessary to verify ownership for the certificate.
this KB helped - good one !

sorry cannot post the link (man ...) search for this one

  Automated SSL certificate Issues.

specifically this part - running this on the server, revealed there was a DNS issue locally there (rookie mistake and yes it's always DNS :)

curl SERVERIPBLABLA/api/v1/info/instance-id -v

hope this helps someone
