2FA for indivdual user accounts
Problem reported by Jay Altemoos - 9/17/2025 at 8:15 AM
Resolved
Good day,
It appears you cannot just enable 2FA on an individual account, but we did see under the actual user account in the settings to enable 2FA. We enabled it on a single user account and it appears to work fine.

So I am a bit confused here, the help topic claims "it can not be enabled on a user-by-user basis" but yet we were able to and it generated the App PW for this account. So is the help topic just outdated?

Thanks for pointing this out. We'll get it fixed. (Going to mark this as "Resolved" as we'll get the change out this week.)

EDIT: Just a quick note: I think the idea is there in that KB, but it's just not clear. Forcing Two-Step means that it can't be enabled on individual users. I think that's what was meant by the statement referenced. Regardless, we'll get it clarified to avoid any confusion.
