Getting duplicate mails while restoring mails from archival

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

      In SmarterMail, an alias ID is associated with multiple email addresses. When we attempt to restore emails from the archive, we are receiving duplicate messages. Could you please suggest a method to remove or prevent duplicate emails during the restoration process?
