Outlook IMAP syncing not working.

We have a strange issue here. Anyone who is connected via IMAP only get emails when they first open outlook. Future syncing does not download any emails. If we close outlook and reopen it, it will download the emails one time and thats it.

As a test I resetup a user on a new outlook profile connected via IMAP and it fixes the situation. However with this said we have 100's of people on IMAP that we we would need to do this for.

Is there a better fix? Is there a smartermail issue that is preventing this?

Does pressing F9 fetch any emails?

I have been getting a couple of calls about only seeing 1 week of Sent items and 30 days of Deleted emails. I have confirmed on the one with 1 week of sent we have show the last 6 months being cached. Not sure if these are related because I think one is using MAPI and the other might be IMAP.

I am using Build 9245 (Apr 24, 2025)

Do you see this behavior clear up if you disable IMAP IDLE functionality at the protocol or client level?
