Invitation error with forwarded address

If forwarding is set up for a mailbox, invitations to the forwarded address are not displayed correctly in Outlook (SM MAPI account). This means that the invitation cannot be accepted.

It works in MS Exchange and also on any other mail server (Postfix etc.). Only in SM it does not work.

Why do I have to spend ages discussing with support every time I have a BUG that this is considered a malfunction in SM?

As mentioned in the original ticket you opened about this, this issue is automated forwarding versus manual forwarding and how Exchange handles automated forwards versus how SmarterMail handles them. This is a difference in functionality, not a bug. As such, it's been added as a feature request, as we mentioned in that ticket.

Hello Derek,

this does not only apply to Exchange, Dovecot/Postfix, for example, also processes it correctly.
