How to get Smartermail Linux disk quota to work?

There's no mention of how to enable disk quota for Linux in the documentation.
Testing the linux version right now and all the mailbox usage count is 0.

An update to the documentation for this would be great from the ST team

Hello,

My local Linux install shows disk usage for the users ( image below ) What user and permissions are you using for the Domains directory?

The install was run using root so everything is under root.
Furthermore, there isn't anything regards to user or permission in the documentation.

Thanks, that link should be in the documentation and not as a kb article.

To smartertools staff. Fix the point 4 on that page.

It is showing two separate lines as one.

 User=smartermail  AmbientCapabilities=CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE

Start the smartermail service as a dedicated user. However, the disk usage are still not counting properly.
Already ran a recalculate disk usage after adding the dedicated user.

What kind of disk environment are you using for the Domains folder? Is this disk local to the server or mounted via CIFS/NFS/SMB?

Thanks Vince. I was wondering if it might be a remote file system where the accounts/permissions weren't translating over properly. It sounds like you've got your bases pretty well covered though and a support ticket might be our best bet so we can work more closely with you to get to the bottom of this.

Testing the free version so no way to submit a ticket.
How do I proceed?
