Build 9042 ignores higher ver of .NET 8 framework

Hello,
  The latest installer ignore the fact that i have .NET 8.0.8 installed and wants to install .NET 8.0.4

We did a fresh install yesterday for a gateway server which had 8.0.8 and SM installed without any complaints.  Have you tried uninstalling 8.0.8 and reinstalling the .NET "hosting" package again?
