The confirmation window may be the better route. There are advantages to placing a deleted draft into Deleted Items, but there's a disadvantage to: with automated drafts, if you tend to delete a lot of them, they can fill up that folder, and without Folder Auto-Clean those can take up disk space. Regardless, I'll add it to our issue tracker and we'll discuss.
