Hello,

Thanks for the question. Short of modifying the configuration files there is no way to renew the certificate manually. But I will go ahead and submit a feature request for this. If you're having issues with certificates I would recommend reaching out to support as they should be able to guide you on fixing whatever issue you're having.

Thank you! Yes please add a "Renew" button in case i am on vacations or something i don't want to have SSL problems. (Just in case something goes wrong and SSL is expiring at that time). IOW i could renew my SSL a 15 days before I go vacations.

Thank you

@Zach

It should be best to auto-renew every 60/70 days instead of 90 and keep active the old certificate in case something goes wrong with the renewal. Then we'll have the time to fix it.

Thank you

Found a way! <g>

1) Stop the service
2) Delete everything on certificates folder
3) Start the service
4) Do resolve conflicts on the smarter mail domains (Settings->SSL Certificates)

And now you have a new 90 day certificate

I would also like the renew function in the webinterface.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to let you know that we just finished adding this feature. If it makes it through QC it should be in the next build!

With this new feature incoming - be sure to double-check that you meet all of the requirements for SSL generation before forcing a renewal as forcing and failing a renewal too many times could lead to that hostname/IP combination being temporarily throttled by the certificate authorities.

@Kyle

You can add a "warning or something" or keep the number of activations per day.
The throttle limit is per day or 2 days i think. (if you generate the same cert for 3-5 times i think)
