Does the FREE Version of SmarterMail have the same features like API ?

I am planning to set up an additional VM server just for testing. I was thinking of using the Free Version as I will only need 1 domain and a few email accounts. The main thing I want to do with this is start building and testing some tools with the API. Does the Free version have all of the same functions as the full version ? Or rather, what might I NOT be able to do with the free version ?

With the FREE verison you can't use MAPI, EWS, EAS, CYREN and Message Sniffer.
And you can't do FAILOVER.
