Is there a way to do a Wildcard Search in SMTP logs
Question asked by Curtis Kropar www.HawaiianHope.org - 6/11/2024 at 8:42 PM

When I bring up the logs I know I can search for 'ehlo' or other criteria.
Is there any way possible to do a wildcard search ?
I would like to search for
'ehlo, '.info'
or 'ehlo *.info'
or 'ehlo' *and* '.info'
or 'ehlo' & '.info'
or 'ehlo' ~^~ '.info'

Something where i can limit and target the search results to something to be a little more manageable

Hello Curtis,

At this time this is not possible, the search is s strict string and will search for what you enter.

When I need to do a more complicated search I will either use PowerShell on the server to do a more complicated search, sometimes over days. or using Bash in a MacOS terminal.

Hope this helps.

Thank you
