Brian this toggle doesn't have to be selected, you can just block the selected IPs. This toggle is meant for situations where you see many IPs in the same CIDR block attacking your server. Instead of having 20 different blacklist entries, this allows you to reduce that to a single entry.

I know but its good to block the c -range that the alert triggers from since its typical a malicious intruder who owns the range.

Blocking only one c-range doesnt work either.

It worked with the previous release.

Interesting, you may need to get a ticket submitted on this so we can take a look. You might have an entry in your blacklist already that is causing trouble. We should be able to narrow that down with you though!
