I agree. We are selling "archive" capability and this typically means the higher ups are investigating some BS.

I would hope that a main purpose of the "archive" is to be compliant with Federal and State laws which require retention of inbound and outbound email. It would seem that the archive should have the BCC'ed emails too. If you had a court case and were required to prove or disprove that an email was sent you currently would not be able to within Smartermail's archive because BCC emails don't show. You can find basic information on the BCC'ed emails in the delivery logs, but that method is not ideal at all.
