Can SM 15.0 run on Server 2019 or 2022?

Got a client who needs to be updated from Server 2012 R2 to either 2019 or 2022, but is perfectly happy with SM 15.

Is there anything that would prevent SM 15 from working on a newer OS? I only seem to be able to find minimum requirements. I assume if SM 15 can't run on Server 2019 we would first need to upgrade on the old server before migration?

Smartermail can easily run on server 2019. :)
Minimum requirements are 2012R2 so youre fine.

It will run on either.  But running an older version of SmarterMail exposes you to the ever changing security concerns on the Internet and we are unable to provide support or debug issues unless you are on the latest versions.  I would highly advise not running an older version of SmarterMail.

Tim, thanks for the confirmation.

Brian, the concern wasn't minimum requirements. But rather compatibility between old SM and new OS.
