In the Main menu, I think the logic behind changing the icons to words makes sense for non-technical people, which is the majority of our users. 

Organizing the rest of the menu items into the dropdown has been an unpopular decision so far with our team. It makes sense that switching to words will fill up that space so you HAVE TO put them in the dropdown.

However, what would be really cool is if the user can pick and choose which menu items they use frequently. For example, if they use Online Meetings daily, it would make sense if they can move it to the main menu (right after Email) and set the order for everything else.
