Cyren status

We do not use them, never found them to be any good, but what is SmarterMail's integration looking like now that Cyren is "going away"?

I was just going to mention this as it just came up on mailop.org.  If anyone is interested here's the press release:

All,

We were also surprised by the recent Cyren announcement.

If you have tried our SmarterMail BETA, you will notice various improvements in our spam filtering features, including verified sender information and HAM/SPAM training.

We have another product in the pipeline, SmarterTools Premium Anti-spam, which was intended to be sold alongside Cyren and Message Sniffer. Given the recent news, we plan to release information about it sooner than expected.

We will be transitioning Cyren customers to our new SmarterTools Anti-spam as soon as it is released. We are glad to know that Cyren will continue operating normally, and the timing for our new product might be ideal.

More details about SmarterTools Premium Anti-spam will be available in the coming weeks.

I'm a bit worried by this post because I just (a few days ago...) renewed my license (through an Italian distributor) containing both Cyren Antispam and Cyren ZeroHour Antivirus...

The two Cyren products cost me a total of about 1000.00 Euros...

My question is: did I just throw away 1000.00 Euros?
