Group syncing via EAS

Not A Problem
Not sure if groups are synced via EAS - testing showed they didn't - what is the expectation?

Hello TK, 

Thank you for asking! This is the expected behavior. I'm afraid EAS doesn't offer support for contact groups or distribution lists. (This is the same behavior you'll find when testing against Exchange as well.)

OK - I found out in the meantime that it creates a category actually?

I haven't experienced that behavior. Can you please share the steps you're taking to get a category created instead of a contact group?

We'll. Created a contact group on my smartphone - then let it sync and the name of the contact group then shows up as category - only discovered that by accient :-)

Thanks for the details. What smartphone are you using? And are you using the native Contacts app, or a client? I'll see if I can replicate this behavior.

We'll I would admit I'm not using the standard client - using the contacts app within blackberry hub android version. It's free to download on any android smartphone.
