Smarter Mail - SMTP outbound Connector

Have been using the outbound connector with an Office365 email account. After enabling 2FA for O365, the outbound connector will not authenticate. If you delete the email login on the connector and set it back up, you do not receive a O365 request for the authenticator code from o365. Is there a process to set this up?
