I will answer your questions.
1. We are looking for generating alerts for calendar / tasks, is it possible as SMS text or other?
You can do this with an event. Please see the following screenshots.
For the event type, you can select either Calendar reminder Occured or Task reminder occurred.
You can then have SmarterMail send your phone number an email.
As an example, I used Project Google Fi. So you would do
555-555-555@msg.fi.google.com and it would appear as a text message. If you need to make the image larger you can right-click it and copy the URL for the image and open it in another tab.
2. Is there any mobile app available for SmarterMail?
Currently there is no mobile app specifically for SmarterMail.
3. We want to sync calendar with android wigets.
You can do this using the default calendar app built into Samsung phones using EAS.
