'Help' for users vs 'Help' for admins
Idea shared by Dann Young - 8/4/2022 at 9:38 AM
Proposed
When a user clicks their account button, and chooses help, it takes them to a well organized online help page that explains how the entire system works, and is installed.

While this is great if you're an admin user, it's terrible for admins who have nosey "superusers", and for those end users who are easily overwhelmed by large information dumps. My suggestion is to fine tune the "Help for Users" section (removing any how-to information for admins) and place that simplified help information on it's own page that the end user 'Help' button is linked to. The larger page linked above should only be accessible (through the customer web interface), while logged on to the servers admin panel, or  by accessing the smartertools.com site. My two cents.

I think this is a great idea Dann, and I'll go ahead and get this submitted as a feature request so we can track the community response to it. In the meantime, you can use the Custom Help functionality found in SmarterMail under Settings>General (pictured below) to implement your own help URL. I know this isn't perfect, but might help work around this concern for the time being:
I hope that helps! Have a good one!
