I need help to solve a problem sending mail to ARMY.MIL and US.AF.MIL

Starting two days ago we are having issues sending emails to @ARMY.MIL and @US.AF.MIL addresses...

Can you help me to solve this issue?


Messages remain in the queue for a while making attempts that give this message:


After a while they fail.

After several investigations, I found that it is they (the domain managers @something.MIL) who are having problems ...

They basically messed up their DNS so much that they are invisible from both Google's and CloudFlare's DNS (and of course I use 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 as DNS...)

I noticed it long before them and they even thanked me for reporting it...

Now the situation is returning to normal.

That's great to hear Gabriele! I reviewed the Delivery logs and it definitely looked to be MX record related, but was interesting it didn't attempt to deliver to the A record at the very least. Either way I'm glad to hear this is working. Have a good one!

They didn't try to deliver to the A records because the *.MIL DNS server were so messed up that there aren't A records...
