æøå in domains and e-mail adresses

How can I make a e-mail domaine as "æøå.dk" in Smatrermail?

If i will use the smtp I get this error:

The client or server is only configured for E-mail addresses with ASCII local-parts: æøå@æøå.dk

I think the mailserver shall be set to UTF-8 but where do I change that?

I use Smatermail build 7242.
