best practice for minor upgrade?

What is the best practice for doing a minor upgrade? I stopped doing them as every few weeks there seemed to be new fixes to problems created by previous patches, but now I'm a bit out of date. I'm on 7699 and would like to move up to the latest, but wonder if I just jump straight to 7859 or should do some key ones like 7751, 7845 first.

Hi Dean,

You'll find instructions to upgrade your installation in our online help here: Installation and Upgrade. Once on that page, click on the Upgrade Process option in the "Jump To" menu at the top of the page, that will take you directly to the instructions you need.

Just to confirm, you can upgrade directly to our latest release without stopping off at any versions prior. Just be sure to stop the system service and wait ~15 seconds for it to drop out of memory before you uninstall then reinstall with the new version. Hope that helps!

We uninstall / re-install.  Minor versions you can just install, but we don't do this.

We also do not restart Windows.

Thanks,
Ron
