Impersonation broken in Safari 14.1.1
Problem reported by Jason Wilhelm - 6/7/2021 at 8:51 AM
Resolved
Looks like the ability to impersonate another user just recently broke within Safari (14.1.1) on macOS Big Sur 11.4. Just updated this morning and now impersonation does not work correctly. All the steps seem to function but when a new tab opens up that is supposed to be the user you are impersonating it just actually opens up with the admin information again. Works fine in Chrome so I am pretty sure this is something that changed with Safari 14.1.1.

SmarterMail Enterprise Build 7761 (Apr 1, 2021). I will update SM this week to see if that resolves it.

Hello Jason. I believe this issue has already been noted with our development team and appears to be only affecting Safari at this time. If you'd like to be notified when the issue is resolved I ask that you submit a ticket with support. Alternatively, I ask that you keep an eye on our release notes for updates on this front.

After updating Safari to 14.1.2 on a Mac, impersonation is now working. Also working under Safari 15.0
