Build 7803 - Problem with ClamAV

Resolved

Since the latest update (Build 7803), ClamAV says "Unable to obtain virus definitions for disabled or remote ClamAV server". The menu to manually update is also disabled. This was never a problem before...

I tried restarting SM, restarting the Server, deleting the clamd.conf/freshclam.conf and restarting SM. I also tried to disable Windows Defender but nothing changed. The clamd.log/freshclam.log look normal.

Yes update ClamAV definition not working

Same issue here. Also Windows Defender is not available on this server, since it was disabled by Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Also I noticed that the reporting is out of date.
It only refers to clamAV and is missing Windows Defender

win Server 2012 r2

Windows Defender is not supported on this machine. = Not working. Any instructions on how to enable WD on 2012?

Update ClamAV Definitions = Grayed out

Hi all,

In Build 7810, you'll find the following fix:
Fixed: Warning banner stating ClamAV definitions cannot be updated shows even after disabling ClamAV in the web interface.
