More granular permission to ADMIN users
Idea shared by Gabriele Maoret - SERSIS - 4/14/2021 at 3:10 AM
Proposed
I'd like to have more granular permission for the ADMIN users, so I can assign some SUB-ADMINS users to resellers.

Examples can be:

  • restrict the list of domains a sub-admin can manage
  • access logs only for assigned domains
  • Restrict the amount of users / domains a specific sub-admin  can create
  • Restrict dissk usage a specific sub-admin can assign to his managed domains...
  • and so on

These are already called Domain Admins.

The major difference being that the proposed "Sub Admins" can create domains.

Yet, you can complete what you are suggesting with the SmarterMail API.

Domain Admins are not what I'm asking for...

A domain admin is a MailBox user that has rights on his domain (and on that only)

What I'm asking for is a completely different type of user.

Your answer seems wrong to me.

EDIT: I know that I can use API to do that, BUT I was suggesting to add it as a standard SmarterMail function in the standard web administration portal
