Currently, if I send and email over the max recipient limit, a pop up shows the error "Unable to validate recipients" which is sort of confusing to end-users, and in fact I had to manually test this out to make sure that was the case.  If possible a more descriptive error like "Over max recipients limit: %d addresses" would be preferred.

On a side note I would love to raise our max recipient limits, but I worry about sending too many to a single domain.  IE sending 50 to gmail.com, aol.com, et al may hit a limit on their system blacklisting our server, so I would prefer to have a global limit to say batch 20 email recipients at a time to a single domain or if possible rate limiting to x messages per minute like Postfix and Exim can do.
