Looks suspicious to me. The link in the mail you received goes to a subdirectory of a probably compromised website and calls a php script. As far as I know SmarterMail uses dot net, not php.

99% fishing.

They are also Copyright SmarterTools Inc. Not SmarterMail Support :)

Ya they made it look as official as they could :)  Came from Smartermail Support but the email address was SmarterMail Support <do-not-reply@ionos.com>
