Indexing Error

Our Smartermail is experiencing a number of problems which seem to be related to mailbox indexing.

The smartermail service crashes several times a day, the event logs send us the message:
Application: MailService.exe
Framework version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.IndexOutOfRangeException

We can find in the logs of the index the following error message which comes back very often and which concerns only one email address:

[aaa@bbb.ccc] Error indexing user: Lucene.Net.Util.AlreadySetException: The object cannot be set twice!

We wanted to disable indexing for this mailbox but it seems that this is no longer possible for versions 17+.
Can you help us on this point?
