Remove IP on Honeypot
Problem reported by Giovane Heleno - 8/18/2020 at 6:15 PM
Resolved
A legitimate IP has entered the Honeypot list.
Where can I remove it?
Expiration time is a very welcome feature!

Giovane,

See this discussion:

You can't.  Currently the Honey Pot spam check in SmarterMail is unusable in my opinion.  It is unchangeable and populates a permanent blacklist.

System administrators need an expiration and access to remove entries.  Until this is built, I would not recommend using it.

Thanks,
Ron

I believe you can remove the IP from a system file. But for sure this should be editable from interface.

Yes, please add a feature to remove / expire honeypot IP Addresses. Voted up.

I found!
The IPs are listed in Settings / Security / BlackList with the description "HoneyPot [yourhoneypot@email]"

It has no expiration time, but it is simple to remove from the list.
