Block Sender not working

When you select block sender for an email address it does not work. You still receive emails from the sender in your inbox, the only difference is it says blacked sender (in red text) next to their email.

I had the same issue, figured out all my emails were forwarded to an O365 account, blocked sender doesn't work on forward.
