Can't save event for copying incoming and outgoing email
Problem reported by JAMES NG - 8/2/2020 at 10:47 PM

Hi, my version is SmarterMail Enterprise Build 7475 (Jun 19, 2020)
Trying to create an event to copy all incoming and outgoming domain email to an email account.
But the save button can't work or response when click.

Is this a bug or any issue?

James, running against the latest public release, I am able to create both incoming and outgoing email events and save the action modal.  Do you get any browsers console errors when you press the Save button?

Hi Robert Emmett,

I didn't get any browsers console errors.
It just doesn't has any response when I clicked save.
But i can save when choose "Send an email" or "send a notification".
Only can't save when select "Add recipient"

Possible due to version (SmarterMail Enterprise Build 7475 )bugs? Or:
FYI, this is smartermail version running on shared email server and it is a email hosting service provided by email hosting service provider.
Or could it due to the function is locked up by the service provider? They aren't sure and said may due to version bugs.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.

James, you may need to open a support ticket for this issue.  I was able to create and save the condition and action based on your screenshot above.

James, I did some looking at the code and see that there was some changes made to the actions modal on 26 June 2020.  Looking at the changes, it should affect how it validates (in fact there is no validation for the Add Recipient field), but that is one difference between the latest public build and the one you are running.

Hi Robert,
Based on your view, does it due to version issue or setting issue?
The service provider said they will update the version to the latest version soon to fix the issue.
I just afraid that it is due to other setting issue not due to version bugs.
Thank you very much!

James, I do not believe it is a setting issue since I was able to create the same system-level event using the information you had provided.  That specific modal code was updated six days after the version you are running.  After your provider had updated, if the event action still cannot be saved, I strongly recommend that a support ticket be opened.
