Mail-enabled folders - SmarterTools

Hi,

I am trying to create 'shared mailboxes' like with 365.

I have found a solution whereby I create a folder in the administrator mail account and then share that with users. (it would be nice to have 'mailbox' as a shared resource option).

However... I can give the folder a disposable e-mail address. But I can't find any way of giving it a permanent e-mail address. Is this possible? If not, is this something that could be implemented??

Hello Adam, we don't currently have a way to create a shared only mailbox the way Exchange does this. The only option available would be to create a new SmarterMail mailbox and then share the specific folders with the user's you want to grant access to.
