7384, EAS borked?
Problem reported by Robert Simpson - 3/23/2020 at 7:57 AM
Resolved
I opened my laptop today and received about 6 of the same e-mails in a row in my Inbox over EAS.  I went online, and those e-mails only exist once on the SM server -- and in the Junk Mail folder, not in my main folder where I received the 6 copies.
I was also missing about 6 other e-mails from my Inbox that exist online but not in Outlook via EAS.

So, I exit Outlook, delete my OST, go into my account, and delete my EAS sync record in the Connectivity tab.

I then come back into Outlook ... and all is not well.  I now have hundreds of identical e-mails in my inbox in Outlook, and then from days ago!

Robert / Mark, I have been able to reproduce the error locally. It appears to only be Outlook that is behaving this way. The EAS fields are correct for all the messages, but it's the body of the messages that appear to be wrong.  I will continue to investigate the issue.

I also had to disable detailed logging for EAS.  I was getting 6gb log files.  Not sure when that started happening.

Possible to get a link before then? This issue is driving some users nuts.

Just lost a client due to this breaking. When you say you have a "fix" for this and know it's broke it would be nice to be told to revert back or release the fix. :(
