I am attempting to install SmarterStats (free version) on a Windows 2019 Server that does not have internet access. This server does have access to internal servers that it needs to pull IIS logs from.

I am getting an error that the SSCollect service cannot start, and my first step in troubleshooting is determining if external internet access is required for the service to start (is it verifying license info or something).

If SmarterStats *can* run without internet access, then I will need to troubleshoot further and check permissions etc. I wanted to check the low-hanging fruit first :)
