I see this is the latest as well which is November 1st. You get an error prior to gmail login and post the error it logs in to gmail and again gives an error at the very end too.

Mail migration has been an issue for months, we use a licensed version of http://imapsync.lamiral.info/

Every version of SM is going to have this issue at the moment as the current problem is caused by a misconfiguration of the Google oauth application. I will post back here when I get more news, just getting into the office and will be planning the week. Stay tuned...

@Jade D, @Matt

Wouldn't IMAPSYNC allow a 3rd party to view the contents of an email account while transfer it occuring?

So Gmail / Google is now holding it's email users hostage. Nice

I hope you've been well! It's been a few weeks since we chatted, and I wanted to send you a final update regarding SmarterMail's Google integrations. As I mentioned last month, Google recently changed their API access and heavily restricted the data that can be retrieved by third-party products and services. Unfortunately, these changes directly impacted SmarterMail's Google integration for mailbox migration and cloud storage, and we had to remove them from the software. You can find more information on this in our recent blog post, Google's API Assessment Process: https://www.smartertools.com/blog/2019/12/18-googles-api-assessment-process

If you use the free version then sure, there is a chance that the owner of the software may store that data but highly unlikely.

We've purchased his software and use it extensively from the smartermail server itself and migrate to it.

We use a batch file with the commands --delete2duplicates --useheader Message-Id --noabletosearch as there is an issue with smartermail imap
