First email automatically opens on mobile
Problem reported by Stratos Geroulis - 11/7/2019 at 12:44 PM
Resolved
I just updated my installation to 7242 and started having a problem with the mobile version (chrome mobile browser). Whenever i load smartermail or change folder the first email automatically opens, it doesn't show the list. This only happens in the mobile version

I’ve noticed this too... and believe it’s an issue that has appeared after upgrading to the latest (7242) build.

I’m presuming you have a custom build?

We're on the same build, but used the full installer package.

Hello Stratos,

I was able to replicate this on my iPhone.  I'll get this over to the developers and change this post to a known issue.

Thank you! I hope we can resolve this admittedly annoying issue in the next build.

Thanks again!

Ronald,

I could have sworn I checked before posting but I hate excuses haha I hope this is resolved as it's becoming increasingly agitating. Thanks for linking the two threads together.

Yeah... our users are going nuts over this... We have almost 30 tickets open of users reporting this. I havent opened a ticket yet with ST since I found this report.

There hasn't been a release in a while. Do you know if there is one coming and if it'll address this issue?

Corrected issue of messages opening vs list in phone by making "preview pane" none. This was retained by system and now laptop "preview pane" does not show. Can't seperate settings by device. Users should be able to change settings in individual devices without affecting other devices.
