Auto dismiss reminders older than X days old
Idea shared by Neal Culiner - 5/16/2019 at 5:12 AM
Under Consideration
I know we all like to mirror what other clients do but sometimes you have to innovate and do things differently and with that said I'm asking to consider an option to auto dismiss reminders older than X days old. I prefer calendar reminders older than say a week old to just go away, why do I need to click the bell in the top right of the web interface, view the reminders, then click dismiss all? They are well in the past, just make them go away automatically after a period of time.

+1 to this. Should have a option to configure, Disabled, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days 30 days etc.

If this is considered, the default status should be disabled, and if you want it, to turn it on and configure it.

Personally i use old reminders for things i still need to follow up on.
Example :
Scheduled appointment - gave away 10 computers Monday to Bill
Scheduled appointment - gave away 5 computers Monday to Nancy
Scheduled appointment - gave away 7 computers Monday to the VA

On my "Office Day" i then update our statistical info that we gave away 22 computers total on Monday and where they went to. Sometimes it may be a few weeks before i get a day to just sit and do office stuff.   I dont want that type of historical data just disappearing from view, without me deliberetly telling it to dismiss.
