New server and update

Good afternoon.

I currently have a server running version 13 running and it is experiencing hardware problems. My license allows you to use version 14 and I would like to take advantage of and install on the new server this version.

My question is: I install version 13 on the new server after I migrate the old one to this and then I update to 14 or already I can install to 14 and put the files of version 13.

Hi Marcos, 

We recommend migrating to an installation running the same version. Follow the instructions to migrate SmarterMail to a different server running version 13.x. Then, perform an upgrade to version 14.x. (Please note that SmarterMail 14.x requires installation on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit or higher with Microsoft .NET 4.5 Framework.)
