Timeout for locked mailbox

Hi,

every now and then we have problems with locked mailboxes. I am aware of the fact that in most cases, this is triggered by POP clients not disconnecting properly and that eventually the mailbox will be reachable again.

So there must be some sort of timeout after which the server will assume that this specific connection must be dead, unlocking the mailbox again. Is there a way to alter this timeout value?

Andy, if you are not running public build 7040, I would strongly recommend you upgrade.  There were some fixes put in place to better handle locking contentions.
