No option to show HTML-Mails as plain-text per default.

There's no option to show HTML-Mails as plain-text. Switching back to plain-text while all those spam-mail pictures are already shown is not a solution.

This is just bad and a big regression.

am on SM15 ,, so maybe SM17 is different..  but there is an option to disable images in html pane .. which works well for us.. so the spam images don't display; unless to click on the pane to say "enable"
that is how we have all users set... works fine for us (again we are on SM15)

Yeah, in SM15 is ok for plain-text lovers, but SM16 can't do that no more. 
Maybe it's too complex to care for basic needs like displaying emails in plain-text if you can have fancy HTML with security problems now and then.
