Duplicate email with aliases

Under Consideration
We have three domains businessyeti.com (our primary), jm2marketing.com (our old), and jm2.biz (even older). All three are active on our SmarterMail site. if someone emails john@businessyeti.com and also CC's john@jm2marketing.com I get TWO emails rather than one.

Under Microsoft Exchange in this scenario I would only get one and not two. I propose that SmarterMail works the same way.
